TT Track Work
Posted by Railroader_Sailor_SSN-760 on Monday, January 26, 2009 9:09 PM

I am working on my TT scale layout, and I have come across some trackwork that I have some questions about.

The majority of my TT scale track that I have is the older Rokal/Zeuke/BTTB style track. I also have some of the newer Tillig bedding track, as well as some Tri-Ang TT scale track.

I have no intention of using the Tri-Ang track on my layout, as it is in poor shape.

I am planning on getting a Peco turntable, which is of the same type of track as the BTTB track. Between that and a few other projects, it would be easier and cheaper to get new turnouts than to find the older ones of the type that I need.

The problem that I have is how to properly transition between the older style track and the new.

Does anyone have any ideas out there?

So many scales, so many trains, so little time.....
