Been looking for years...N.J. International Light
Posted by Southwest Chief on Saturday, October 25, 2008 1:46 PM

I've been looking for many years for an N.J. International street light.  The old Walthers number is 525-5002.  And they still have this listed under discontinued products.  Here's a link:

N.J. International Dome Type light

And here is a color photo from my 2000 Walthers catalog:

It supposedly comes in a 2 pack according to the catalog.  I'd like to use at least 1 for a pool light by this motel scene:

It sort of looks like the type of light you'd see around a pool, tennis court, or similar outdoor rec area.

Having looked everywhere for the past 3 years including eBay with no luck, I'm hoping someone out there may know of a hobby shop or store with old stock that might have a set of these lights.  Can anyone help?

Can't help with the light , but love what you've done making a two story out of the siesta motel. I have it on my layout, never thought about finding another one and going two story. Great look !

Isn't it amazing what some paint and detailing can do to a plasticville kit?  I was worried it wouldn't look good enough, but was pleasantly surprised how it turned out.  Most route 66 motels I've seen in the west are/were two story, so that's what it's based off of.

what about these, not exact match, but these are the type we have around our pool.

and being that they are N scale, the height would also be about right to go around the HO pool.
