Can someone remind me of the name and website of a recently new HO scale boxcar manufacturer? They are making highly detailed models in plastic. They were reviewed not too long ago in the model press. The models were toward the more expensive end of that spectrum. Thanks!
You're probably thinking of Tangent Models. One of their products is reviewed in the November 2008 issue of Model Railroader on page 90. Covered Hoppers, not boxcars.
Also, TrueLine Trains in Canada have advertised what look like INCREDIBLY detailed models of Canadian Fowler box and stock cars. Their ad in the current issue of MR lists them as being available in hobby shops 'world-wide'. They certainly look impressive in their ad.

There have been posts about a company that makes models of Kelloggs boxcars. It also seems like the make a model of a Conrail boxcar. If I remember correctly, they are highly detailed, expensive, and kits. However, I do not remember the name of the company. I am sure someone will see this that does know it.
