I noticed that Classic Metal Works was to have released a number of vehicles in HO scale in August. What interested me most was there was to be a selection of 1950 Dodge cars.
Anyone run across any of the newly released models. I noticed that a couple of on-line stores indicate they are already out of stock and that the next stock is expected in Dec 2008.
There were also some 1954 Ford Fuel Oil trucks.

those have not been released at all yet for some reason. The mail order places arenot out of stock, they just don't have any yet and the new delivery date is December.
edit: I should have stated that the mail order place says December for a due date.
Mine have been on order with Walthers and Horizon for almost a year now, and when I checkedwith both, neither have a due date listed for delivery.

Been there. The information is vague at best.
No news updates at all on the expected delivery dates of the Dodges.
I talked to the president of CMW recently. The F-350 Utility Trucks should be arriving this month, the F-700 tank trucks will probably hit some time in October and the Dodges will be late December or early January '09. CMW wasn't satisfied with the early results on the Dodge and they are re-working it.
Late shipments are going to be the norm for a while. A number of things, including the earthquake, floods and the Beijing Olympics, have created a huge disruption in Chinese production. In addition, because of tight security, it was very difficult to get anything out of China during the runup to the games which has created a major backlog of shipments.
