Internet Hobbies ( www.internethobbies.com ) or Internet Trains ( www.internettrains.com ) ?
Before commenting I just want to make sure that we're talking the same retailer.

No, it was not obvious.
I've never dealt with this company, but the "word on the street" is that they are slow to deliver. Many retailers allow the customer to track one's order as far as order received, order shipped, and progress of shipment. Did you check to see if that service was available? It was rude if they didn't respond to an email. The next step is making a phone call to them. And if unsuccessful, a letter by snail-mail. And so on up the legal route.

Well maybe I should have mentioned it, but you aren't helping me!
davidmbedard wrote: I did. Doesn't that seem a little obvious? What's his number, or can you give me a link. Obvious? No, I did not make the assumption that you called. You made no reference to talking to anyone or calling anyone or picking up the phone or dialing...nothing. You only said that you were waiting for an email. So, you are saying that when you called (which I doubt), no one could actually help you? I find that hard to believe. If it doesnt make sence........then it probably isnt true. Here....call this number and have your CC ready...570-876-6070 David B

New Haven, you need to take deep breaths and calm yourself. Further, be forthcoming. You didn't demonstrate credibility by claiming you called the retailer and then later requesting the company's phone number.
You should be at least 18 years old or working with an adult when dealing directly with retailers.

Ain;t that the truth.
"Hey, it;s some kid. He doesn;t know anything, let's give him the runaround."
I think what I5 means is he called Internet Hobbies, and got one of the employed monkeys, but wanted a more direct number to the owner.

Seriously, isntead of arguing with people on the internet, call the phone number first thing tomorrow, and try to straighten things out... That's my 2 cents after they were hit by a commuter train...

"Not even at the airport, where we have the rules completely surrounded."
A couple of things: I have dealt with Internet Hobbies and recall no problems. This was about three years ago now. Maybe things have changed. As for internettrains.com, the name gives me the willies based on an extensive thread fostered by many irate would-be customers.
Secondly, we should all perhaps shake our heads and just go on our way. The question has been answered, sensibilities rattled all around, and none of us is better off. Sometimes posting about trouble of this nature just invites unsympathetic responses, or responses that seem rude they are so obvious. Trouble is, some folks would not have phoned. Luke did, and the result is that he is still frustrated and without his item.
Patience, all, and the show's over at Luke's request.
