Box-Kar Hobbies, Cedar Rapids

Has anyone been in contact with this hobby store since the flood? I know they moved from downtown CR and I hope the staff and store made it through the disaster OK. I would phone them directly but I can imagine how busy they are. My best wishes to the people of Cedar Rapids.

In fact I was in Cedar Rapids just a couple of weeks ago to check on my dad and some friends, so I stopped by the store as well.  There is no issue with either as both Dad and the hobby shop are located miles away from the flood zone.  In the case of the hobby shop it's current home is in the old Town & Country Mall on First Avenue up by 38th Street.

I was not aware that they were ever downtown Cedar Rapids.  As a youth growing up in CR, I remember when they originaly started that they were located in downtown Marion.

I have figured out what is wrong with my brain!  On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!
