Group, Hello I have two old Athearn BB kits that have "crappy" couplers with them, and i would like to change them over to Kadee knuckle type. dose anyone know what size kadee couplers would fit these Athearn kits? I contacted the guys at Athearn, but got no help from them, so I am turning to the experts here on this list. any advice you could give would be appriciated,

thanks

George

What type are they? F7, SD40-2, GP 9?

I normally use #5's on mine even though Kadee calls for a #37 for the F7 and SD40-2 and a #38 for the GP50 and GP60.

Without knowing exactly what kits you have, I'd suggest checking the Kadee site. They have a fairly good list of recos.
