1st revenue run
Posted by fluff on Saturday, March 29, 2008 4:27 PM
finally ran a train today on my 10x10 (approximately) n scale around the walls layout. 2 diesels, a pair of lifelike fa's, atlas gp 40s, and a microtrains ft set each pull 40 cars with little effort. now i can see all of my little dips and rises in the roadbed, along with some track leaning that need some attention. i only used 1 pair of feeder wires and i cant see any hesitation anywhere. i will add more though. im thinking 4 locations? what do you guys think on that. (dc by the way). also, how do you make a yard with atlas code 55? the ground throw rods stick out on both ends. do you just cut one side off? im used to the code 80 atlas switches that dont have that. thanks.....
