HO is what I model. I would prefer N scale with the space I have but if I had unlimited amount of space I would stick with HO

I model HO because the models can be very detailed and a layout need not occupy an aircraft hanger. Over the years my choice has been reinforced as a plethora of highly detailed hobby items have become, and are still becoming, available. IF I did have that hanger, my choice would be O scale without question.

Why did you leave out narrow gauge? Anyway, it's HO for me.

I've been in HO since 1953 but I do have some N Scale equipment too, I was hoping for an N Scale club or N-trak to start up around here, but NO-GO.

Same with me and also because that's what I had the longest as a kid.

If I had the room and the money, though, I'd like to have a large building constructed and try doing a large layout in O-scale. I am currently toying with the idea of trying to squeeze in some sort of O-scale switching layout on a shelf.

If you're talkin' fish scales, my favoite scales are big ones -- it normally means you've caught a bigger fish. [:D]

However, if you're talkin' MRR, I prefer HO. It is large enough to do some detailing and still fit more than one loco on my 5x13 layout.

Can you picture a "G" runing on a 4x8 layout.

N scale is my favorite mainly because of space. I also have some O gauge.

Z is my favorite: a single bedroom gives place to an empire with 80-car freights, and a 20" radius curve that is very sharp in HO is broad in Z.....About the lack of available products in this scale, things are getting better and better: 5 new types of locomotives are expected this year, with an increasing selection of structures, track, etc...

HO is my favorite , But on my newly expanding layout I am going to try to add an N scale steam train for a theme park or zoo ride.

It's 'N' for me because I love being able to run looooooooong trains in a relatively small space. I also like the 'miniature' aspect of N scale. I think it's incredible to find so much detail in something so small.

I did have N scale at one time, I liked it but I went back to HO scale.

HO is how ordinary
S is superb, super
O is oversized
G is gross
