There is an interesting show on circuis trains on Wild West Tech on the History Channel this morning. I hadn't seen this one.

there was also 2 episodes about 20th century railroads and modern railroading on modern marvels, plus late 19th century rr-ing on wild west tech. all of was in the US. I have seen all them and they did it without major error, and even had a AC6000 computer model to show air brakes on the 21st century episode
