There's nothing new in the hobby. Just the same old things re-invented and passed down for decades (at least that's what the 60 year old guy told me).

Anyone know anything about a new DCC decoder designed to allow locos to run on dirty track? was in MR a few months ago - they claimed the loco ran over a sheet of paper placed on the track without stalling. Was this a serious report or a joke? It doesn't sound all that likely to me!

any info out there about a product / something called Easy-DCC ? (not the "DCC made easy" info) I've been told that it can easily be upgraded to suite new requirements as the model r/r grows etc...how long has that been around, how satisfied are people with it? what can you expect to pay for it? ...
thanks

cheers, krump
