The only good thing about winter is that you get to spend time working on the layout and watching hockey ( Maple Leafs of course ) I model Canadian National and CN family lines and my layout is based on Southwesten Ontario. This would include, Grand Trunk Western, VIA Rail and Amtrak. Norfork Southern has trackage rights on CN along with Canadian Pacific Railway. Time period is 70's to present. This allows me to run steam specials that CN ran during the early 70's, 4-8-4 Northern 6218 which now is on display in Fort Erie Ontario, and 4-8-2 Mountain 6060, which is still in use out west in Alberta for rail fanning. Locomotives on my roster include, F-7's, F'3's F's, FA-1 and 2's, GP-9's
SD-40's and SD-40-2's and many more to list. My favorite is running passenger trains but I still get a kick out of freight trains. I am in the process of expanding classification yard, and need to work on finnishing the little detail work. My only problem is, the local hobby shop keeps running out of everything, so its first come first serve. Have you guys come accross this problem?

CNtrainman,
I have two excellent hobby shops in the area. If one doesn't have it the other probably does. If not they are always happy to place an order. Dave

I'm a member of this chat room, it's great! Train Hearted Guy has done a great job putting this together. You should check out the forum as well, it breaks down into specific catagories relating to road names, history, and other railroad subjects.

Sorry that I haven't been around much lately. I've just been extremely busy. I'll try to stop in soon though!
