Woodland Scenics at a discount
Posted by jerryl on Thursday, January 17, 2008 8:14 AM
Our local AC Moore craft store sells Woodland Scenics products & their advertisement that comes in the mail contains a " one item 40% off" coupon.  Granted, they do not carry the complete line, but they have the plaster cloth, trees etc.  Probably meant for classroom projects.   Jerry

Cool.  I haven't seen WS stuff at our AC Moore, but I'll look next time I'm there.

AC Moore also sells Envirotex.  Considering that the medium-sized bottle costs around $18, you save real money using the coupon.  By the way, if you go to www.acmoore.com and use the "store finder" option, there will be a link to the coupon.  You can print it out on your computer and take it in for the discount.  They're typically valid Thusday through Wednesday of the following week.

At ours, they put the cheap acrylic paints on sale a few times a year.  On sale, they're cheaper than at Wal-Mart, like 3 for a dollar.

My wife, by the way, takes the AC Moore coupons to Michaels, a competing craft store chain.  The one near us honors the AC Moore coupons, so if you've got a Michaels, it might be worth a try.

Yep!!! I had a 40% off coupon for Hobby Lobby 2 weeks ago. I used it to buy the G scale Durango & Silverton freight train set. The next day I sent the wife with another coupon & had her buy me the G scale Pennsy Passenger set. Guess I will be working on a G scale layout now along with the HO layout. Total savings, about $135.00. Just could not resist
If you want good quality oats, you must pay a fair price. If you'll settle for oats that's already been through the horse, that comes a little cheaper
