I'm going to purchase an Athearn Genesis MP15AC DCC ready NON MRC sound unit from my LHS that offers 20% discount on EVERYTHING.
The consensus on this forum is that the Athearn MRC sound equipped loco's Blow Chunks. (technical term). So I would like to install an aftermarket sound system. I've installed Soundtraxx Generic Diesel all in one decoders, but honestly they are not loud enough for my taste. The quality is good, although not as nice as QSI, but unfortuntely you can't buy QSI off the shelf.
