As you might have guessed, things are hectic here at trains.com while we get the full site up and running. Some of you have already been seeking advice on the model railroading part of the forum, but I've also received a couple of e-mails with questions that I thought would work well in the forum. Where we can, the staff at trains.com will give answers here for the benefit of everyone. But often, the people with the best answers are you. So don't hesitate to ask for advice. Hi Tom-I have a question or two. I have purchased an N gauge F40 Life-Like Locomotive. It is new. It ran for a collective one hour, during several times this week. Now it only runs in reverse. When in foward, it hums and appears to be getting some electricity. I believe the transformer to be okay because reverse works fine. So, what should I check? Email is [e-mail] Thanks for your advice.
