I'm currently using two Crest Train Engineer R/C controls on my DC HO layout. They work reasonably well and are tied into two MRC sound modules (one steam and one diesel). I was well down the road with cab control when DCC was still in it's infancy and converting two dozen engines and everything else is beyond reason for this oldtimer.
The major criticism of the present hand helds is that they are 100% push button. I'd much rather have knobs for speed control. Does anybody make such an animal?
