Are you sure you are talking about a Banta conversion.  Banta conversions are for frieght cars that fit the Bachmann flatcar chassis. Most of the diesel conversions are made by Boulder Valley Models. I just completed a Mega Midget diesel conversion that uses parts from the Bachmann HO GE 44 ton swircher.

As you can see from the picture (presuming I loaded it correctly) this give a great On30 piece of small motive power.

I have not built any of the cabs, but I have built thir box car conversions for Bachmann flatcars.  All of the parts are laser cut from excellent qulity wood. Everything fits erxactly as it should, and ghe instructions cover everything in detail. You should have no problems with the loco cab conversions.

I'll try once again to post a photo of the Boulder Valley diesel conversion.
