I got mine a little early, courtesy of Caboose Hobbies in Denver. A brass PFM Rio Grande L-131 2-8-8-2. Early run, was obviously seldom taken out of the box. A little lubrication, some tweaking and the little devil runs just fine, thank you. As soon as it's properly broken in, I'll take it down to the Deer Creek yards and run it through the paint shop.
Haven't opened the rest of my presents yet, but there's something in a suspicious looking box under the tree that is kind of heavy and doesn't rattle when I shake it. Hm. Do you suppose it's something with lots of wheels encased in foam, LOL?

I got a Nickel Plate 765 2-8-4 from Santa Claus. I also got a Digitrax Zephyr Starter Set from Mom & Dad. I also have been waiting for the Southern 4501 to come out from BLI. I painted a IHC Mike into a Southern 4501 livery. It has since fallen off my train table & is in retirement.

Merry Christmas Everyone,
So, what did you all get?
I got an IHC Southern 4501 DCC ready 2-8-2 (I was waiting for the Blueline, but who cares, I like it), a few sections of EZ-track, and 3pieces of rolling stock, which are 2 Bachmann Southern 40' boxcars and an Athearn Southern 60'flatcar
Not too bad, in fact, I didn't even think I was going to get any of it. On the no-railroad side I got an Ipod Classic 80g and a Digital Camera.
Not too bad.
