Posted by Budliner on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 12:31 AM

I just sat down to install these brass parts I paid $50 for....

well looks like I got jonahed

he knew that some of the parts were missing

c'mon looks like my feed water heater system was missing a key part

seen here

reciprocating pump not in the kit, two oil traps were in the bag  instead of one

I had no clue as these are my first parts but it even had a mimeograph copy of the instructions

just my luck

but on the lighter side.... here is the westinhouse PC high speed air brake system, installed on my tank car.

now if you want parts install send your trains prepaid post both ways

someone made a copy of the instructions,

thats not a small part it was 1/2 the kit

live and learn I will be sure to give him an earfull next round of shows

I was going to get two of that kit, thank you fine, I didn't.

just so you all know, the show is a place that they like to dump stuff.

maby we wont see you again, maby your green and you wont even notice

well were not that green, and we did notice . I think its a sleezy move $$$$$$$$$$$$$

dont be so quick to back up the vendor, for sure if he gets parts he checks them out  good ...

thats the last half a hundered he gets from me...

I should call walthers and let them know he copys the kits and splits them up

I agree give `em hell. It's not the job of us the hobbyists to keep schmucks and hucksters in business. That's called being a shill.
