thanks guys for the replys, i did use the L girder and the risers as my support for the layout,  placing the plywood on top of that would be more support. so basicly the downside of using the 2" foam on top of the playwood is the anchoring of the switches. I did bolt the legs to the L girder incase I do have to move it. like in the case we are moving.
