I'm currently 21, right now I can't see ending this hobby ever. I'll be a model railroader until the day I die; who says you have to end it when you're 36, if that's the case freeze time! People who aren't in this hobby don't know what they're missing! [8D]

Sonds like something I might have originated, and if not, I should have. Are there any good comments on that one?

As another 56 year youngster, I can see where the real active age groups are. Should have started the poll at 30. Seems that when I was younger I either didn't have the time or the skills yet to do this hobby justice.

Also, It seems that every time I got a layout running and some of the scenery done, it was time to move back into another apartment and sell the works!!

I should have replied 17 years ago ! I am submitting this survey to the Australian Tax Office. If they adopt officially adopt it (and there's always a hope they might) as a criteria for collecting income tax, all the Broadway Limiteds may be mine!!!
Geoff I wish I was better trained.

since I STARTED model railroading when this poll says I barely fit in (and now a few years beyond that), my age old reply is approximately 14466 days give or take a week.
If y'all want to send me train stuff for my 40th B'day you have approx 4.5 months to get your gifts and cards to me in BC.

- if you start as you finish - bald, no teeth, etc (I won't elaborate further) but I'm a LONG WAY from there...
come to think of it, pretty young actually, cheers.
Happy Day.

cheers, krump

I fit in three categories: 18 + 19 + 20 for a grand total of 57 (years old). My helper is 9 years old, does that count ?

Well as high as the poll goes is 36 but i'm 14 years older than that. Maybe it's in dog years or something! Heck, if its is in dog years I'm dead!
