Walthers Thrall enclosed auto carrier axles

Anyone know what wheels would work in the existing trucks?

I have 2 that wouldn't roll down a 45% grade.

Thanks in advance

Gordon

I think I remember reading somewhere that those take small wheels. (28")

Walthers also sells some that size.

I had two seperate problems with the wheels sets on the Walthers Autoracks.  The earlier b level rack had a tendency for the wheels to rub on the underside of the body.  I switched the the 33" wheelsets to 28" and this problem went away.  On the later trilevel cars the smaller wheels that Walthers used were junk.  I replaced them with the 28" Intermountains and my problems were solved.
