That's a great video! I love when they stopped on top of the Lackawanna Bridge.

(the other story) I've heard stories like that coming out of South America. They are trying to string power lines to remote villages to make everyones lives better and the villagers are stealing the wire as fast as they can put it up and selling it for scrap.Dunce [D)]

That's happening right here in the USA quite often now with copper prices being at their highest level in many years.  All types of items containing copper are being stolen from construction sites and even off of people's houses and from power transformer stations.  Arizona has passed a law requiring scrap yards to get a photo ID and record the name and address of anyone selling copper.

Yes - Thanks for the link, that's a great piece of footage. I've been saving all the clips I come across !!! Obviously shot with very professional grade equipment .... any more of this helicopter view of the train around ???

The helicopter was the local news station's, and I don't believe they usually film the steamtown excursions.

Washinton state has had to weld all the junction boxes shut along I-90 to prevent wire theft. Oveer $800,000 gone so far.
In Lewiston Idaho,where they filmed Breakheart pass.
