Modeling the PRR Congo and Senator
Posted by BigRusty on Saturday, September 22, 2007 2:03 PM

About a year ago, I corresponded with Mark Meeks at Union Station Products requesting that they add the Budd cars used on the Senator to their production schedule.

Today I received this information from him:

Russell,

We finally got all of the cars for the Congressional and Senator done.  Since it has been over a year since your request, we wanted to make sure you were still interested in the kits.  You can view the drawings of the cars at http://unionstationproducts.com/pennsylvania_railroad.html.  The car numbers are Budd plan 9621, 9624-110, 9628, 9635, 9642, 9643, 9649, 9651, 9666-110.  The Pennsy designations are included in the descriptions of each car.  Also, the Train Station Core and Detail kits are listed at http://unionstationproducts.com/core_kits_and_parts_for_our_side_kits.html.  We have also partnered with Palace Car Company to offer some generic interior kits that are shown at the bottom of that page.  If you are still interested in purchasing the kits, please do so online or call 901-277-4237.

Thanks for your patience.

Mark Meeks
