After reviewing my MR archives, back to 1979, I really miss a How-to article about using fibre optics and / or LED as light source for buildings. Anyone out there with a good article or a good source of information?

For magazine articles on LEDs and fiberoptics, your best bet would be to search MR's magazine index ....

This not only searches MR but all the other magazine publications as well.
Another option would be to spend every waking hour online searching all the information pertaining to LED lighting and fiberoptics pertaining to model railroading !!!
