general question to all HO fans, i'm an Ho enthusiast not just in Ho trains but also HO slot cars. my dream is in conecting the two together but I cant seem to find any track that constitute for the two, like cross over track or intersections. can any of you HO enthusiast out there please help me in this endeavor. if you can, please contact me on mars at teekaho@mail2mars.com thanks!
Back about 1960, the Aurora company manufactured a slot car/HO railroad crossing.
Then they marketed it with artwork depicting cars racing trains to the crossing.
Some of our Big Brotherly legislators grabbed onto that and, lacking the political traction to deal with larger issues, latched onto it as a voter-friendly opportunity to display their power. Needless to say, they successfully outlawed the crossings in a lot of jurisdictions.
I rather suspect that those laws are still in force.
