Omaha Railroad Days (pictures: warning slow internet)
Posted by DrummingTrainfan on Saturday, July 14, 2007 3:06 PM

Today here in Omaha there was a Railroad Days event. In the Trains Magazine forum, I have pictures of three of UP's heritage units and the E-units. In addition to the real trains, a new permanent layout at the local botanical gardens opened. In addition to the pictures posted here, there are plenty more at http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=17136577&uid=3783191&members=1

Some of the more interesting things are Omaha landmarks made totally out of natural materials. Pictured here is the UP headquarters building.
