>>1. Do you know anyone who owns model trains?

Yes; several people.

>>2. Do you own model trains?

Yes.

>>3. Did any of your parents own model trains?

Yes; both.

>>4. Do you or your parents still actively collect model trains?

I do and my father does.

>>5. What type of model train do you or your parents own? (Lionel, LGB, Atlas, etc.)

HO and N scales. Brand not important.

>>6. Do you know the significance of scale and gauge differences?

Scale is the ratio between the model and reality. Gauge is the distance between rails irregardless of scale.

>>7. Do you only erect your train set during certain occasions?

No. I have a permanent layout.

>>8. Did you ever think of selling or throwing away your trains?

I do both from time to time. I sell surplus equipment and new-made (by me), and throw away scrap and broken models.

>>9. What is your favorite make of model train?

I don't have one.

>>10. Did you receive any model trains (or set pieces) from your parents?

Yes; both.
