For what it's worth, I've seen some UP diesels rolling past within the past couple years where you had to do a double take to figure out the color was really yellow - they were an extremely dark grey due to dirt & grime (and no, they were not old SP units!). <br /> <br />Interesting info about the steam days that some of you posted above.
