Any recommended hobby shops in New Orleans?
Posted by NevinW on Wednesday, November 5, 2003 8:38 AM
I am going to the Big Easy for a convention and I thought I might stop in at a hobby shop there. Does anyone have recommendations about train oriented hobby shops in the New Orleans area? Thanks - Nevin

Used to be THE place to go in New Orleans was the Hub hobby shop. If you look at a map of central New Orleans, it seems like all the streets going to the river are perpendicular to the river front, and since the riverfront is a half circle, it makes them come together like spokes in a wheel, and the HUB was at the center of those spokes. I don't know if the HUB is still there. So many of the old great ones are gone.
