My locomotive roster is small, compared to most of you:

NYC
  • Baldwin 2-8-2 Mikado (Athearn) - #1852
  • Baldwin 2-8-2 Mikado (BLI) - #5101
  • Lima 2-8-2 Mikado (Trix) - #1883
  • Alco S1 switcher (Proto 2000) - #687
  • Baldwin VO-660 switcher (Stewart) - #501
  • EMD FT A-B diesel (Stewart) - #1600/2400 (on BO)
Erie
  • Alco S1 switcher(s) (Proto 2000) - #308 & #319
  • EMD FT A-B diesel (Stewart) - #701
Even so, it's still enough locomotives to keep my crew busy.

It is a whole nuther topic, JaRRel, but I wonder if we should operationalize "best runner" so that we know what you mean....since you introduced it as a sub-topic.

Hi there Bob,

Is that a pair of CN decorated PA Units I see in the top left corner?  Just wondering... it is your railroad to make a "what if" after all!

Cheers from Down Under

That's what they are, in prototypical colors.  They were demonstarted on CN and arrived painted in the colors at the time.    Decals were on an Accucal sheet.

So they aren't a figment of my imagination!
