Just go up to "Update Profile," enter your password, and find the line that says: Do you wi***o view members signatures when reading posts? I bucked at the added cost (now $29, only $7 more) but you really see what you're missing without it. Even though I could turn off signatures, I do get additional information from other's pictures, so I leave it ON for now. And yes I used to hate the slow loading time for pictures on dial-up. However, it will not compensate for a really old, slow computer. I currently have 2 Gigs of RAM in my G5. Its a couple of years old now and can be upgraded to 8 GIGs. That said, even the fastest computer will not work online faster than the connection you have. If it is the computer that is holding you back, it is REALLY time to upgrade!
