I only have 512MB of RAM, and am thinking about upgrading to at least 1GB.[8D]

I bucked at the added cost (now $29, only $7 more) but you really see what you're missing without it. Even though I could turn off signatures, I do get additional information from other's pictures, so I leave it ON for now. And yes I used to hate the slow loading time for pictures on dial-up. Just go up to "Update Profile," enter your password, and find the line that says: Do you wi***o view members signatures when reading posts? Set it to "Yes - Text Only" or "No" and all the signature pictures will go away. It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse. That's the modern way to do anything these days. I've even got a friend that gets his heart tuned-up every now and then. Bergie & Company - Who is the vendor for the forum software? It would seem that they should be able to add a switch, settable by each user individually, that would toggle the graphic signature files on and off. That way, each user could decide for him/herself whether or not to receive signature pictures. Since the system already contains both Text and Graphic signature areas, I wouldn't be surprised if this feature is already there. It might just need to be enabled in the user profiles. EDIT: It IS already there! Thanks, Overdurff! I put a bit more info below for anyone who is having trouble doing this. It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
