Since I'm still working on the benchwork, I don't have any photos of my own layout. But I do have some of a train vacation I took in May of 2004.

ABOVE: This was taken from the rear of Algoma Central's (ACR) Tour of the Line (looking north from the south-bound train) in May 2004. The scenery in this part of the country (north of Sault-Ste-Marie, Ontario) is spectacular ! I must have about 4 rolls of photos from this 2-day trip. I'd like to think that I can achieve something like this on my layout.

ABOVE: Ottawa (Ontario)'s O-Train, as seen from the platform of Bayview Station, the northern terminus of the line (all of 5 stations long), as the train pulls into the station. The photo was taken in early May 2004, while on the same train vacation as when I took the ACR.

If I ever get my b*tt in gear, I'll upload more of my train vacation photos for future Weekend Photo Funs. (And, yes, I do know I'm posting this on a Tuesday.)

Often when modeling subtle is better. Not everything is weathered to the point where a railroad will pull it. Good job.
