Westside Southern Pacific GS-8. First brass engine I ever bought and the only one I still own.

It's really kind of hard to support your local hobby shop when the nearest hobby shop that's worth the name is a 150 mile roundtrip.

Thanks for posting my roundhouse pic for me,Scott!! Bye the way,if you're wondering what that tender looks like,it's the same one on the Hudson in the far left side of the pic.If you guys wanna take a look, the streamlined Pennsy K4 in the first stall is completely scratchbuilt,I made everything but the chassis, the tender is a solid block of Alumilite that I milled to size, and covered with plastic sheeting, and I made all the details..All the Pennsies next to it,except for the other K4,are castings, there's a CORRECT Decapod, and a Mike with a scratchbuilt longhaul tender,it's made from a Con-Cor 40' trailer[for the rivet detail] and it has a doghouse made from plastic sheeting.I painted all of them, except the Big Boy and the Challenger.
