Replacing O22 switch cabling

I'm setting up my 50 year old train set after an absence of almost 40 years and have discovered that the old rubber insulation on the 3 conductor cables connected to the O22 switches has turned brittle and falls off. The same has happened to the 4 conductor cable for the uncoupler track. What cable should I use to replace these?

John; I would try ordinary stranded speaker wire for these...you just need to color code the ends of the plastic insulation with paint to keep your new 'cabled' wires sorted out...then just bundle them with electrical or masking tape.
