John; I would try ordinary stranded speaker wire for these...you just need to color code the ends of the plastic insulation with paint to keep your new 'cabled' wires sorted out...then just bundle them with electrical or masking tape. <br />For three-rail questions, O, or O-27, you might have better response in the "Toy Train Operating & Collecting" category of this forum, rather than this "Model Railroading" one.Good luck & regards / Mike
