Difference Between Bachmann Canadian National 2 6 0 Numbers 6012,6013 and 409

<p>409 is DCC/Sound. 6011/6013 are DC models but should be able to be converted to DCC if desired (also are less expensive). Will start a 12+car train equipped with Kadee couplers if you run the slack in before starting (back up untill all cars start to move then pull forward, this trick causes the engine to only have to overcome the resistance of the stopped cars one at a time), once they are in motion it requires less force to keep them rolling (works on level track).</p> <p>Edit:</p> <p>As a side note I really wish Bachmann would come out with their Alco 2-6-0 with slide valves instead of piston. Almost every single railroad that Bachmann has letter their mogul for had slide valves instead of piston....that having been said I have two.</p> <p>Also read my response to your previous post. Quite a bit of info in there as well.</p>
