<p>
</p> <p>What bothers me about MTH is that they try to apply 3 rail logic in the 2 rail world. That is by making DCS only partly compatible with DCC is simliar to making 3 rail DCS partly compatible with Lionel Legacy. The NMRA has standards why don't have they conform?</p> <div style="clear:both;">
</div> <div style="clear:both;"> </div> <div style="clear:both;">Call it market segmentation to avoid competition. Whether it is a smart move - well, I have my private opinion on that. It worked for Trix for nearly 50 years, but I doubt it can be repeated. Trix finally had to give in and change from 3-rail DC to regular 2-rail DC following NEM standards, shortly before they went belly-up prior to being bought up by Marklin, which also bit off more of the apple than they could swallow.</div> <div style="clear:both;"> </div> <div style="clear:both;">If I were Mr. Mike, I´d drop the HO scale line and concentrate my efforts on O scale. I am also glad I don´t have to make that decision...</div>
