Micro Engineering... any news?
Posted by Bayfield Transfer Railway on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 3:49 PM

in the December 2021 MR there was an announcement that Micro Engineering was up for sale.

Anybody heard any news on that front?

Interesting news.  I feel terrible for anyone who wants to get stuff directly from ME.  That's a great company.  Their webpage shows the domain name is for sale.

The March 3 email newsletter from Enginehouse Services hobby shop in Green Bay WI says "Besides the new items, we have been getting restocks from Digitrax, Kadee, Micro-Trains, Micro Engineering, Soundtraxx, ESU, Walthers, etc."   So at least it appears they are making and shipping.  That's not responsive to your question about news relating to selling the business but it at least suggests that they are a going concern which always helps

Actually, you just need to use the right link rather than thinking you know the web address.

http://microengineering.com/shop.htm

It is not a glamorous web site, but it never was. But it links you to all the necessary info.

Actually, the previous poster is correct. The last Micro Engineering ad in MR gives the website address as www.microengineering.com which does indeed give an error.
