Well, the Illinois Central dabbled a bit in TOFC in the earlier years, and here is my example.  Guess the riggers have not yet gotten to this car as of yet.  

Any more early TOFC examples out there?

Here are some Flexi-Van cars being switched:

Flexi-Van flats had high speed trucks and steam and signal lines for use in passenger trains for hauling mail and express.
