Trainfest is Nov. 11 and 12 at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis, a suburb of Milwaukee. For many years a group of Forum members (from Trains, Classic Trains, MR, CTT, and GMR parts of the Forums) have gathered for a group photo at the Kalmbach booth. This year it will be Saturday, Nov. 11, at noon. We usually try to have someone from Kalmbach join us in the photo.
Keith Schmidt dug into his archive and found the 2005 photo which includes one of our original "moderators" the much-missed Erik Bergstrom (far left). None of us are looking any younger. I am the very tall guy in the sweat shirt.
The guy in the Hawaiian shirt by the way, Chris Keating, now works for the UP!. He used to post a lot on these Forums back then.
And yes I will be bringing the original "Trains.Com Forums" sign from this photo. Any of you who read this and who'll be at Trainfest are urged to come join us. We never know when this particular tradition will end.

Trainfest is way way too far away for me in northern Virginia but ExactRail is supposed to be there and showing a few new models.
