Take a ride on a Baldwin S-12. Went to SMS in New Jersey today for a visit with friends and do a little research. While I was there I got bigger tour of the line, saw more of the collection in storage and hung out on some revenue movements.

Down in this part of the world our main commemorative day is ANZAC Day, 25 April, but as an amateur historian, I should have remembered Armistice Day, so thank you to all for the reminder; and even more thanks to all those who have served and those who still are.

Jimmy, the sun certainly did work for you, a great shot!!

Sorry for hijacking the thread Bear.

Of course photos from the “Critter Workshop” would be better than good Dave, but the fact that Georges Christmas Layout photos reawakened FUN memories for three of you enough to comment on them, demonstrate that this thread is fulfilling its purpose!!

Thanks to those who commented on the flat car conversion, but that was the quick bit!!!!!Sigh

Thanks to everyone who has shared their really Good Stuff,Bow
Cheers, the Bear.Smile

George,

Thumbs up to you and the members of the BRV for the Christmas Layout at LL Bean. I would certainly like to be there to see the excited small eyes it will create. Yes

The layout at LL Bean went operational today; and a video was posted on the Boothbay Railway Village Facebook page:

George:

Nicely done! You no doubt just put a lot of train stuff under a lot of Christmas trees.

I just hope the sound isn't as bad in person as it was on the video!Smile, Wink & GrinLaughLaughLaugh

Dave

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
