I think what you have done is really spectacular!

I have personally seen the mars/gyralight effect (I'm not quite sure which) from the cab of the CP Canadian way back in 1965. Don't ask how I was able to get a ride through Northern Ontario in the middle of the night, but I'll blame it on the other kid! Smile, Wink & Grin Anyhow, seeing your video with the light projected onto a flat surface struck me as being pretty realistic.

I’m still experimenting with my two LED MARS/Gyralite configuration. I guess that comes from my 50 years working in two-way radio communications, always trying to find a better way to do it.

I put a .040” clear plastic spacer between the two 2mm LEDs to attempt to widen the sweep. This video is with the spacer and the decoder programmed to Gyralite.
