It's winter up in the mountains in the small town of Lone Wolf as skiers and snowboarders stop at the Lone Wolf Cafe and General Store before going to the nearby ski area. The nosey sheriff looks on.

Please show me more winter scenes.

Here is a Christmas scene. I guess nobody likes to model winter.

Please show me people doing something fun, dancing, playing music, fishing, boating playing sports, anything that isn't work.

Not the right time of the year for this but winter doesn’t make it to Bakersfield until mid January, and even then it only lasts a couple of days.

This paint scheme is a one-of-a-kind.

Can anyone say what this SD-70 has in common with a Pennsy GG1 (besides the track gauge Smile?

Unusual .... Most model railroads do not have a Heater Car. ... I Heater Car has a steam generator, and it was used for passenegr trains if the locomotives were not equipped with steam generators. .... This is a Rapido model, and it does have "steam" which you can see if you look closely.

Please show some Christmas-related scenes.

My own layout being far from complete, I borrowed this scene from the Bouthbay Railway Village Layout I visited earlier this fall.

Merry Christmas to all.

Show me your favorite scene.

It’s been quite awhile so here is my first HO scale locomotive that I bought with paper route money in 1951.

This is a MDC Roundhouse 0-6-0, still runs great after 64 years.

Show me your first locomotive.

First, second, third locomotives all long gon into the bin of history.

This is one of the first locomotives of the new era (older ones are packed away). This AHM product, missing its innards and rear truck sits along side the maintenance shop on the scrap line awaiting further canibalizations.

Show me what is in your scrap line.

A string of Gons wait to be loaded up with shredded steel in the rail served J&B scrap yard.

Let's keep the scrap thread going by showing us a junkyard.  preferabably rail served.

Uh-oh, somebody's farm animals got loose and the owner of this new feed and seed is shooing the horses away while a donkey looks on.  There are also cows behind the store but they didn't make the photo.

The owner needs to put the tin roofing on before it rains.  He also needs to add store signs and some junk in the yard to sell.

Show me a poor country farm with some livestock.  A mobile home for a house would be a bonus.
