Nice collection, Graffen!
All I have is this beauty:
Yes, it´s a Westside Model Co. D&RGW T-12, which I bought 40 years ago for $ 120 plus shipping, duty and VAT - a small fortune in those days. You could get 3 Marklin Crocs for that amount. It was also my first painting, lettering and weathering job. Unfortunately, I got the loco no. wrong - it should have been 174 instead of the 47, which is incidentally the D&RGW class when the loco was built in 1884.
Little did I know before the Internet came -
I should get some more HOn3 track and run it more often. The loco is not well balanced - the middle (blind) driver acts as a pivot and the engine rocks slightly.
Very nice assortment! I've been buying/building On3 D&RGW locos and rolling stock for the last year or so. 'Been using a small area beneath my HO layout to run and test everything. The next step is to take down the HO,and replace it with the narrow gauge.

Nice to see other folks are getting prepared to go to narrow gauge. For me it is the hominess of the little engines and the fact that a smallish road with just a couple of engines can mime the realities found on some of the narrow gauge short lines still around after 1900. Many of these lines survived into the 40's.
The possibilities are endless for a cute small road, be it a modeling of a real road or a free lanced effort.
The wonderful collection shown is far more than most folks would need to do a very full featured small NG road.
All the best to those looking into a future adventure with the narrow gauge, regardless of scale chosen.
