<p>Yes, it´s a Westside Model Co. D&RGW T-12, which I bought 40 years ago for $ 120 plus shipping, duty and VAT - a small fortune in those days. You could get 3 Marklin Crocs for that amount. It was also my first painting, lettering and weathering job. Unfortunately, I got the loco no. wrong - it should have been 174 instead of the 47, which is incidentally the D&RGW class when the loco was built in 1884.</p> <p>Little did I know before the Internet came - [sigh]</p> <p>I should get some more HOn3 track and run it more often. The loco is not well balanced - the middle (blind) driver acts as a pivot and the engine rocks slightly.</p>
