I'd hate to see the loss of any model train products because of licensing issues. If [scale model] manufacturers dropped production of one, whose to say that there wouldn't be additional cuts in the future over the smallest infraction? Imagine: no more Santa Fe models because of a row with BNSF? Tragic, just tragic. I think a large number of us already lament the demise of prototypical railroads due to mergers, etc. in the real world. We shouldn't have to bare the loss of their scale model counterparts, too. That would be a real let down for the hobby.[:(]
