Has anyone ordered/received the Appalachian Lines set from Yesteryear Models? I ordered at Timonium about a month ago and they said they would be shipping by the end of October.

DId they say what year? Very few new products have shipped on time in the past couple of years. It seems to get slower and slower, especially with products made in China. I've noticed that companies such as Bachmann will even announce a product six months to a year before it is actually available.

Yes, I got mine. They are super nice people to work with and the set of cars is fantastic. If you want a set, you had better order pretty quick. It's a very very limited run item.

I got mine about two weeks ago. So wonderful to be able to honor some legends of my time by having them represented on my layout. Chris at Yesteryear was fantastic in keeping me informed, as I ordered before the cars were ready. I suggested a few more roadnames for them to try, including David Barrow's "Cat Mountain". Don't feel any reservation about ordering these cars!
