I Agree.  You have a long and entertaining road in front of you.  Just remember, much of the enjoyment is in the journey, not the destination.Try to get something put together so you can actually run trains as soon as possible, and fil in the details later.  I've bee updating the turnouts on my layout from manual control to automated for about 9 months now, and I'm starting to get frustrated that Ican't actually run trains because the turnouts under construction don't lock in either direction, so I can't run anything over them.
